Mrs. Mary Ann Helms, 77, of Monroe, NC passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019. She was born in Winnsboro, SC on August 8, 1942 to the late Ernest and Connie Faye McClellan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Unionville Baptist Church, 510 Baucom Road, Monroe, NC 28110, burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28110. Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Bobby Eugene Helms, daughter Melissa Craig, (Jeff) two grandchildren; Daniel Craig, (Daisy Hardy) and Hannah Craig, many nieces and nephews and long-time friends; Bill and Shirley Love, Jerry and Sandy Byrum and Gene and Janet Kiker.
