Mary Catherine Wofford Blythe, 93, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015. She was born May 20, 1922 daughter of the late William and Viola Wofford. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Waxhaw City Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Blythe is survived by sons, Robert Gary Blythe and wife Deborah of Monroe and Danny Ray Blythe of Waxhaw, daughter, Diane Blythe Godfrey and husband Jim of Waxhaw, grandchildren, Dana and Doug Usery, Ryan Blythe, Kevin Ray Blythe and Megan and Matt McManus, great grandchildren, Robby and Cole Usery, Crystal Nicole Blythe, Haylee Blythe, and Reagan McManus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Oliver Blythe and their first grandchild, little Robert Brandon Blythe.
