Mary Ann Copeland Clark On April 23, 2022 our dear mother and grandmother, Mary Ann Copeland Clark, left this earth and was welcomed into the loving arms of our Father God. She was born in Chester, SC on October 31, 1943, daughter of the late William Copeland and Pearl Catledge Copeland Hall. A Celebration of Life with receiving of friends and family will be held Wednesday April 27, 2022, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Gordon Funeral Service,1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. She loved laughing, going to the beach, working in the garden, praying for her family’s safety and spiritual wellbeing, and sharing her Christian testimony at every opportunity. She was affectionately called “Sweet Wonderful Grandmother” by her grandchildren. Ann lovingly devoted her time to her children and served as a minister of the Gospel alongside the love of her life, Randell Scott Clark, to whom she was married for 48 years before his passing in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her son Christopher Scott Clark, and sisters Willie Mae Hudson and Betty Sue Copeland. To cherish her memory, Ann leaves behind her children, Kimberly Clark Ward (James), Stephen Clark, and Rondalyn Clark (Thomas Groome), her grandchildren Audra Weaver (Mike), Toni Little, Tara Clark, Stephanie Clark, Stephen Clark Jr., Natalye Vargas (Brandon), Autumn Carter, Christopher Carter, and Corinthian Clark-Groome, great grandchildren, Malikye, Honor, Krista, Bentley, Christopher, Paige, Lynnmarie, Ava, Taryn, Jayden, Zayden, Francesca and special friends Debbie Whitley and Patty Steed.
