Mary Jo Conway “Jo Bird” aka as “Mama Jo” 74, of Monroe, NC passed away, Friday, January 22, 2021. She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on August 24, 1946 daughter to the late Marion Wylie & Edna Virginia Austell Bird. She was also preceded in death by her husband Donald “Duck” Conway. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM in the church fellowship hall.
