Mary “Joyce” Pate Guin, 85, of Monroe, NC passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. She was born in Union County, NC on November 13, 1940, to the late Henry Pate and Helen Pate. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Lee Guin and seven of her siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30PM on Monday, November 24, 2025, in the chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30PM until 2:15PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Joyce is survived by her son, Paul Guin, brother, Jim Pate and sister, Nancy Pate and Ann Benton.
