She was born in Mecklenburg County on April 28, 1943 daughter of the late Farrell Jacob and Mary Agnes Rhodes Carpenter. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Oakland Baptist Church, 600 E. Sunset Dr., Monroe. Burial will follow in Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, 2817 Mt. Harmony Church Rd., Matthews, NC 28104. Mrs. Hough is survived by sons, Ronald “Ronnie” Neal Hough of Indian Trail, Arthur Mark Hough of Monroe, Christopher Lynn Hough of Wingate, and Eric Dale Hough of Weddington, sister, Brenda Taylor of Vale, and 7 grandchildren.
