Dateline: Monroe, NC Mary Frances Jordan, 82, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013. She was born in Union County, NC on February 5, 1931 daughter of the late Burk and Tinnie Mullis Williams. Mrs. Jordan was a retired restaurant owner. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 1:30 PM at Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Jordan is survived by her son, Hank Jordan, daughters, Debra J. Whitaker and Donna Jordon, all of Monroe, sisters, Rachel Haney of Marshville, Raymelle Caudle of Monroe, and Linda Helms of Indian Trail, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
