Mary Lou (Crooke) Mills

Mary Crooke Mills, 76, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, in Duke University Medical Center. She was born February 5, 1941 in Union County, NC, daughter of the late Jeff I. Crooke and Maude Hinson Broome. She is also preceded in death by her husband Albert David Mills. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mary is survived by two sons, Fairlan Miles wife Judy, of Indian Trail, Joe Miles wife Ivette, of Monroe, four daughters, Donna Gardner husband Tim, of Charlotte, Vicky Harvell, Fiancé John of Monroe, Linda Rolon, husband Herb of Indian Trail, Lisa Starnes husband Johnny of Pageland, two sisters, Martha Sue Crooke of Indian Trail, Faye Watters of Lancaster, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and eleven step grandchildren.
