Mary Ree (Aycoth) Outlaw

Mary Aycoth Outlaw, age 95, of Monroe, passed peacefully on Tuesday (November 11, 2014) at Jesse Helms Nursing Center. Born on September 1st, 1919, Mary was known for her spunky personality, sharp wit, and thoughtfulness. More so, she was known for being a lifetime devoted Christian and hard worker, all of which contributed to her longevity. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Outlaw, son, Charles S. Outlaw, and sister, Bessie A. Pursley. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her granddaughter, Charlsey Childers her husband Doug, great-granddaughter, Cambrie Faith Childers, family friends, Mary Ruth Richard Smith, Beth Dave Hill, and Rachel Ivan Secrest, the Jesse Helms Nursing Center family, and many more friends she gained over the years. Visitation will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2301 N. Rocky River Rd, on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Funeral services will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Shiloh Baptist Church in her honor.
