Mary Elizabeth (Horton) Ray

Mary Elizabeth Horton Ray, 82, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012. She was born April 30, 1930 in Union County daughter of the late Joel Otis Horton Sr. and Florence Clark Horton. She is also preceded in death by her husband Joel David Ray, Sr. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 8, 2012 at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 1:30 PM at Gordon Funeral Service Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112 Mary is survived by a son Joel David Ray, Jr. of Fayetteville AR, a daughter Gayle Wright of Monroe, a brother Otis Horton of Monroe, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
