Mary (Thomas) Starnes

Mary Thomas Starnes, 75, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011. She was born on August 18, 1936 in Union County, NC daughter of the late George William and Minnie Oliver Thomas. Mrs. Starnes was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Harvey Starnes and sons, Randy H. and Charles Starnes. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Gail Starnes of Monroe, brother, George Edward Thomas of Stanfield, sisters, Daisy Louise Aldridge of Stanfield and Sarah Elaine Simpson of Concord, grandchildren, Amanda Starnes and Randy Starnes, Jr. and a great grandchild, Charles Starnes. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 1:00 pm in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service.
