Maurice Newsome Hill, 63, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He was born July 9, 1952 in Union County, son of Sarah Newsome Hill and the late Mitchell Paul Hill. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the mausoleum in Sharon Memorial Park, 5400 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC. The family will visit with friends and relatives following the service. In addition to his mother, Maurice is survived by his sister, Michele Demby and husband Larry, and nephew, Cameron Demby, all of Waxhaw.
