Max Olin Marsh, 65, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014. He was born March 13, 1949 in Union County, son of the late James Olin and Letha Mills Marsh. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed by Rock-Tenn for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and cooking for and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Mr. Marsh is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jane Thomas Marsh of Monroe; sons, Tadd Gaddy and wife Laura of Indian Trail and Whit Gaddy of Charlotte; daughter, Claire Marsh of Charlotte; and precious grandchildren, Beau and Bryn Gaddy of Indian Trail, who deeply loved their Pop. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Weddington United Methodist Church. The family will visit with friends and relatives following the service.
