Ms. Maxine Frances Braje, 60, of Monroe, NC., passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Hospice in Monroe, NC. Maxine was born on August 16, 1957 in Mingo County, W.VA. Maxine is survived by her mother, Delores Chafin Enci of Monroe, NC; four daughters, Angela M. Godwin, Katrina C. Balke, Amanda R. Decker, Amber D. Braje of Monroe, NC; four grandchildren, Mia E. Grayson M. Godwin and Lucas C. Evangeline J. Balke of Monroe, NC; three brothers, John Enci of Hickory, NC, Nick A. Enci, Jack L. Enci; three sons-in-law, Marshall D. Godwin, Robert E. Decker Jr., Andrew J. Balke of Monroe, NC; one sister-in-law, Amity Enci of Hickory, NC. A Memorial service will be held at Benton’s Cross Roads Baptist Church on Tuesday February 6th at 5pm.
