Melanie Leah Starnes, 40, of Monroe, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019. She was born in Mecklenburg County on October 8, 1978. Funeral services will be held 6:00pm Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe NC, 28112. She is survived by her husband Michael Starnes, two daughters; Morgan, and MacKenzie Starnes, her parents Barry Griffin and Sue Crook Griffin, a brother, Josh Griffin and a sister Shannon Flores husband Erwin.
