Melda Price Hill, 100, of Monroe, NC passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026. She was born in Richmond County, NC on October 23, 1925, daughter to the late James Lantz Price and Annie Lee Haigler Price. She is also preceded in death by her husband Homer Lee Hill and sister, Emily Long.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 27, 2026, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, with burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Methodist Church Cemetery, 6722 NC-218, Marshville, NC 28103. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00AM until 10:45AM, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Melda is survived by four daughters, Judy Boswell (Keith), Patsy Little (Kenneth), Sue Holley (late Bill Holley), Debbie Baker (Wesley), 10 grandchildren and their spouses, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a brother Joe Lee Price.
