Michael Ray Benton

Michael Ray Benton, 63, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born August 9, 1960 in Union County, son of the late Roy Benton and Beulah Williams Benton. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, John Benton, Jack Benton, Dennis Benton and a sister, Vickie Carter.

A gathering of friends and family will take place Friday, May 10, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112.

Ray is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Griffin (Donnie), Jennifer Pressley (Harold) and Samantha Benton; grandchildren, Tyler Pressley, Cameron Pressley, Bryson Pressley, Brionna Griffin and Chase Griffin; brothers, Doug Benton (Pam) and Roy Benton, Jr. (Francis); and sisters, Carolyn Hicks and Pamela Pressley.
