Michael Lee Hunter, 67, of Monroe, NC passed away November 26, 2018. He was born September 29, 1951, in Monroe NC, son to the late Billy Lee and Margaret Inez Cox Hunter. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Prospect United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service 1:30-2:45 PM in the Church Family Life Center. He is survived by his wife Celeste A. Hunter, son Nat Hunter and wife Anna of Lancaster, daughter Amy McWhorter of Waxhaw, brother Wayne Hunter of Waxhaw, two sisters Sharon Hager of Monroe and Karen Ashley of Monroe, step-son Joe Brycheck of Oaklawn, IL, two step-daughters Tiffany Lowery of Mint Hill and Crystal Boyd of Harrisburg, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
