Michael “Mike” Glenn Mangum, 60, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. He was born in Union County on March 19, 1957, son to Craven Mangum and the late Ruth McClellan Mangum. Mike was a graduate of Wingate College and The University of North Carolina Charlotte and spent many years as Family Service Counselor at Lakeland Memorial Park. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the Mausoleum at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. In addition to his father, Mike is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Angie Aldridge Mangum, daughter, Christy Mangum and fiancée, Tony Riddell, of Mebane, brother, Jeff Mangum and wife Sherri, of Waxhaw, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dogs, Rudy and Roscoe.
