Michael Steven Medlin, 64, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014. He was born in Union County on August 15, 1950, son of the late Billy and Audrey Williams Medlin. Mr. Medlin was a member of Truth Masonic Lodge #749 A.F. A.M. A memorial service was held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial followed in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family visited with friends and relatives following the burial at the cemetery. Mr. Medlin is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy Sides Medlin; sons, Michael Adam Medlin of Marshville and Timothy Kane Medlin of Apex; grandchildren, Megan Medlin, Brook Medlin, Leah Medlin and Luke Steven Medlin; and a sister, Donna Rivers of Chesterfield, SC.
