Michael Stephen Williams, 56 of Waxhaw, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was born in Union County, September 26, 1961 son to the late Hymie Jacob and Martha Seabolt Williams. Funeral Service will be held 1:00pm Friday, May 11, 2018 at Weddington United Methodist Church, 13901 Providence Rd, Matthews, NC 28104. Burial will follow in Waxhaw City Cemetery. Michael was a dedicated Law Enforcement Officer for over 25 years. He served the Pineville Police Department for over 15 years, in addition to his service with Waxhaw and Monroe Police Departments earlier in his career. He was also the Purchasing Manager at Wrico Mfg, Stamping Co, since 2012. Michael was strong in his faith of The Lord instilling God's word into his family. He was a loving son, husband; father, brother, uncle, friend, and public servant. He dedicated his life to serving others in the community as a Police Office, EMT, Fireman, Sports Coach, Church Volunteer, and beloved friend. He loved spending his free time with his family, friends, and adored dog Nova. He also enjoyed fitness in the gym and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Michael was very diverse and willing to assist his family and friends with any projects they may have whether it was with home, auto, or just offering advice. He was excited about the impending birth of his grand daughter and will continue to watch over his family and friends from Heaven. The family will receive friends and family, Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret “Meg” Hall Williams, son Morgan Hall of Charlotte, four daughters, Ashlee Hall, Gabrielle Williams, and expecting grand-daughter, Cardyn Hall and Ashlyn Williams all of Waxhaw, three brothers Joe Williams, wife Pam of Indian Trail, David Williams, wife Candice of Wingate and Ben Williams, wife Angela of Waxhaw. Four sisters Judy Williams of Canoga Park, CA., Joanie Stevens husband John of Unionville, NC., LouAnne Crowder husband Greg of Hillsville, VA., Trish Seibert husband Bill of Waxhaw, NC., and his beloved dog Nova.
