Michael Lee Stroud, 74, of Monroe, NC passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022.

Mr. Stroud was born in Winston-Salem, NC, on July 29, 1947, son to the late W. Wayne Stroud and Doris Stroud.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews NC, 28104. The family will mingle with family and friends following the service.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Deborah Lamb Stroud and sons Jason Stroud (Jamie), Jonathan Stroud, Christopher Stroud (Leanne Farnham); sister Janice Hembree, brother Larry Stroud (Barbara); two grandchildren Noah Stroud, Lucas Stroud, and one granddaughter on the way.

Michael and Larry were partners in starting Carocraft Cabinets, Inc., a commercial millwork company in Charlotte, in 1976. They managed it together until Michael's death.
