Michelle “Hope” Fender Maynard, 42, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013. She was born in Gaston County, NC on December 26, 1970 daughter of Dean L. Fender and the late Ruby Bryant Fender. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Freedom Biker Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM. Hope is survived by her father, Dean Levoid Fender, her husband, Michael Jerome Maynard, son, Jonathan Bradley Moss, daughters, Haley Fender Waddell, Samantha Michelle Moss and Shanon Nicole Moss, brothers, Wayne Clark and Michael Fender, sisters, Judy Jones, Cindy Clark and Reca Edwards and 10 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to Freedom Biker Church, 5113 Hwy. 74 W., Monroe, NC 28110 for help with funeral expenses.
