Mildred Aleine (Robinson) Isenhour

Mildred ‘Midge’ Robinson Pace Isenhour, age 87, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Midge was born on March 29, 1931 in Charlotte, NC, daughter to the late Tony and Laura Robinson. She is also preceded in death by her husbands Roy Pace and J.D. Isenhour; four brothers, and five sisters. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Monday, July 9, 2018 at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Midge and her beloved Roy L. Pace lived in Charlotte where they raised their four children; Steve, Kathy, Laura, and Jeff. Midge worked as a receptionist for Mecklenburg County for many years before retiring. Midge was a devoted and loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a grandmother to her six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Midge never met a stranger and would start a conversation with anyone and quickly become friends. Midge loved to travel and went to the beach very often. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Midge is survived by her children Roy Stephen Pace and his wife Irene of Charlotte, Kathy Pace Roberts and her husband Eddie of Weddington, Laura Pace and her husband John Hill of Concord, and Jeffery Lynn Pace of Charlotte and one brother, Jack Robinson. She is the loving grandmother of Darrell, Bo, Misty, Kyle, Dylan, and Jon.
