Mildred Louise (Thomas) Parker

Mildred Thomas Parker, 93, went home to be with her Lord Savior Friday, December 27, 2013. She was born January 10, 1920 in Union County, NC daughter to the late Hurley Bessie Griffin Thomas. She is also preceded in death by her husband Cull Parker, two sons Larry and Max Parker. Funeral services will be held on 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mildred is survived by two daughters Janet Parker Starnes; husband Eddie, and Sharon Parker Myers; husband Gil all of Monroe, four brothers Bobby, Charles, Jimmy, and Brackie Thomas, three sisters Avis DeIuliis, Barbara Thomas, and Shirley Lee, five grandchildren Lesa Kirkman husband Bill of Weddington, Dennis Parker wife Sook, of Colorado, Kandy Parker of Monroe, Mardy Parker of Marshville, and Erran McCall husband Jim of Indian Trail, seven great grandchildren Kyle Kirkman, Alexis Kirkman, Savannah Parker, Hunter Parker, Maddy Parker, Kimberly Parker, and Matthew Parker. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service Crematory 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Memorials may be made to Mt.
