Millon F. Carnes, 87, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was born May 14, 1930 in Chesterfield County, SC, son to the late Frank Georgia Carnes. He is also preceded in death by his wife Betty Sue Carnes, and a son Millon F. “Mike” Carnes, Jr. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Wolf Pond Baptist Church, 78 State Road, Pageland, SC 29728, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit prior to the service from 12:00 til 1:45 in the church fellowship hall. Millon was an active member of Wolf Pond Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher for years. He is a retiree of Springs Industries and BB T Bank. Mr. Carnes is survived by a daughter Emily Lowery, and husband John of Wingate, daughter-in-law Elaine Carnes VanDyke of Pageland, three grandchildren Leslie C. Redfern, of Indian Land, SC, Ashley C. Shelley, husband Jeff of Wilmington, NC and Joshua Lowery, wife Ashley of Orange Park, Fl, five great grandchildren Alyssa Eli Redfern, Kellen, Paxon, and Tabor Lowery.
