Milon J. Hamilton

Dateline: Monroe, NC Milon J. Hamilton, 84, died Sunday, March 9, 2008. He was born in Aurora, NC on November 14, 1923, son of the late John William and Leona West Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Frances Dunlap. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends following the funeral service. Mr. Hamilton is survived by three sons, Roger Hamilton of Kannapolis, Keith Hamilton of Ft. Mill, and Scott Hamilton of Henderson; and one daughter Jayne Pawelek of Monroe; and four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church Building Fund, 801 S. Hayne St., Monroe, NC 28112. Gordon Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for the Hamilton family.
