Morris Lane Stallings, 72, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017. He was born March 6, 1944, in Union County, NC to the late Paul Demont Stallings and Kate Helms Stallings. Mr. Stallings is survived by his wife, Janice Richardson Stallings, son, Rodney Stallings and wife, Victoria, and two grandchildren, Kayla Stallings and fiancé, Ivan, and Brooke Stallings. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Stallings, Sherrill Stallings, and Jerry Stallings. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM on Friday, January 13, 2017, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112.
