Myra Phyllis (Huneycutt) Eudy

Myra Phyllis Eudy, 75, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was born July 30, 1939 in Stanly County, NC daughter of the late Reece Vassie Pauline Lambert Huneycutt. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Donald “R.D.” Eudy. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM. Mrs. Eudy is survived by a daughter, Julia Elizabeth Hinson, of Wingate, two sons, Richard Lane Eudy, and Jeffery Donald Eudy both of Monroe, a brother, Kenneth Huneycutt of Stanfield, four sisters, Brenda O’Kelly, Loretta Hill, Renay Moore, all of Monroe, and Vickie Pope, of Elizabethton, TN, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Oakland Baptist Church, 600 E. Sunset Dr., Monroe, NC 28112 or Alzheimer’s Association 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215-3220.
