Myra Cates Matthews, 73, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. She was born in Henry County Ga. on June 14, 1940 to the late James Orington Cates and Clara Gertrude White. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Horis Ward Funeral Home 376 Fairview Rd. Stockbridge, Ga. 30281. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. A burial will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery 245 Fairview Rd. Stockbridge Ga. 30281 Mrs. Matthews is survived by her husband James Claude Matthews; two daughters Cynthia “Cindy” Flanegan of Waxhaw, NC, and Lisa Ganes of Stockbridge Ga.
