Myra Simpson Privette, 72, of Monroe, NC passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021. She was born in Union County on July 15, 1949 daughter to the late John W. “Bill” Simpson and Ercel Medlin Simpson. She is also preceded in death by her brother David Simpson. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM, Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30PM until 2:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Myra is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Ronnie Privette, son Greg Privette, wife Kristy, Penny Jackson, husband Randy, three grandchildren Amanda Beam, husband Paul, Mitchell Privette and Samantha Jackson, sister Margaret Belk.
