Nancy Presson, 95, of Monroe, NC passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026. She was born in Union County, NC on February 21, 1931, daughter to the late Lonnie Leroy Helms and Myrtle Hinson Helms. She is preceded in death by her husband Steve Hunter Presson.

She will be laid to rest privately with burial at Monroe City Cemetery.

Nancy is survived by her five sons, Steve Presson (Lanita), Philip Presson (Lynn), Jim Presson (Karen), David Presson (Vicky), Michael Presson (Dawn), six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was a lifelong member of Central United Methodist Church in Monroe, but her primary interest in life was being a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
