Nancy Dixon Williams

Nancy Winchester Dixon Williams, 98, of Monroe, NC passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. She was born in Union County on July 25, 1924 daughter of the late John Winchester and Margaret Romedy Winchester. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Dixon, and late husband, Marvin Williams, as well as her daughter Margaret “Marti” Jean Dixon, brother and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Frances Gaddy, Mr. and Mrs. Harold and Dorothy Oches.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

She is survived by her son, David Dixon, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening and painting. She retired from the Union County Library with over 30 years of service.
