Nathan Reid Keeter

Nathan Reid Keeter, 71, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Nathan was born in Union County, NC, April 6, 1936, son of the late Herman and Nellie Broome Keeter. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Nathan is survived by his wife Carol Waddell Keeter; sons Nathan Keeter, Jr. and his wife Carol of Indian Trail, NC, Lee Keeter of Monroe, NC and Mark Keeter and wife Sara of Wingate, NC; brothers Frank Keeter of Jacksonville, NC, Arter and Louie Keeter both of Monroe, NC; sisters Ruby Starnes, Thelma Smith, Delane Vestal and Teresa Smith all of Monroe, NC; seven grandchildren; eight step-children and four step-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
