Neal David Hess

Mr. Neal D. Hess, 73, of Monroe, NC passed away Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 15, 1947, son of the late Neal A. Hess and Kathrine Swenton Hess. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Linda H. Bless. A mass of resurrection service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 725 Deese St., Monroe, NC 28112. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Neal was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes and the Knights of Columbus. Neal is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Morgan Hess; brother, Barry Hess; sister, Kathy Mooney; brother-in-law, Bill Bless; as well as his loyal companions, Rufus and Minnie. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Our Lady of Lourdes, 725 Deese St., Monroe, NC 28112.
