Faye Shaffer, 81, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. She was born in Braselton, GA on September 2, 1934 daughter of the late William Boyce and Osta Higgins Perdue. Mrs. Shaffer is survived by her husband, Harold William Shaffer, sons, Charles Edwin Shaffer of Waxhaw, William Keith Shaffer (Ginger) of Monroe, and Harold Eugene Shaffer of Sherrills Ford, daughter, Betty Renee Shaffer (Wendy) of Boiling Springs, SC, brothers, Ray Perdue of Braselton, GA and Stanley Perdue of Bisbee, Arizonia, sister, Billie Austell Healy of Yakinville, 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildrden. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
