Norbert Arthur Foerster III, 89, of Monroe, NC passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023. He was born in Bergen County, NJ on March 18, 1934, the son of the late Norbert Foerster, Jr., and Mary Van Note Foerster. He is also preceded in death by his stepson, Roger Johnson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Norbert is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Willie Johnson Foerster; son, Norbert Foerster IV (Marie Ward); daughter, Missy Harden (Mark); stepdaughter, Gina Ohmann (Jon); sister, Noel Petrea; four grandchildren, Tiffany Hatmaker (Billy), Matthew Ohmann (Hunter), Nicholas Ohmann (Anna Beck) and Natalee Foerster and two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Hatmaker and Nasir Little.
