Norma Laney Montgomery

Dateline: Monroe, NC Norma Laney Montgomery, 95, passed away April 27, 2011. She was born in Union County, NC on January 8, 1916, daughter of the late Zeb Vance and Amanda Griffin Laney. A graveside service will be Friday, April 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends following the service. Mrs. Montgomery is survived by sons, Jimmy L. Montgomery and Ted Wayne Montgomery, both of Monroe; sisters, Marie Parks of Kannapolis and Claudia Burgess of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
