Olin "Red" Taylor

Dateline: Monroe, NC Olin Dewitt (Red) Taylor, 84, died April 17, 2009. He was born May 1, 1924 in Union County, NC, son of the late Cyrus Ed and Henrietta Godwin Taylor. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Windham Taylor. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. Mr. Taylor is survived by sons Olin (Pete) and wife Sandy Taylor of Monroe; Jack and wife Barbara Taylor of Charlotte; Donnie and wife Linda Taylor of Monroe; Ronnie and wife Karen Taylor of Indian Trail; daughter, Laura Taylor Horn of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Mary Elizabeth Hinson of Spartanburg; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitors Monday, April 20, 2009 from 12:30 pm – 1:45 pm in Gordon Funeral Service, prior to the funeral.
