Oren Lee Williams

Oren Lee Williams, 86, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016. He was born November 2, 1929 in Union County, son of the late Loyd Union and Verona Hyatt Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ruth Chaney Williams. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 11, 2016 at Benton’s Crossroads Baptist Church, 109 East Lawyer’s Road, Monroe, NC 28110, followed by burial in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Mr. Williams is survived by his son, Tony and wife Donna Williams of Monroe; daughters, Janet and husband Jackie Stegall of Monroe, Wendy Hill and fiancée Wayne Kinnel of Huntersville, NC, Anna and husband Freddie Gordon of Monroe; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
