Pamela ""Pam"" Hilton

Pamela W. Hilton passed away peacefully into the arms of our heavenly father Friday, November 13, 2015 after battling cancer for two years. She was born in Union County, daughter to the late Clifford William Marie Griffin Whitley. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 21, 2015, in Gordon Funeral Chapel 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM. Pam retired from Walmart after 15 years of service and was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she was a faithful servant to God. Pam is survived by her loving husband Jerry Hilton of 32 years, daughter Liz Moore (Calvin) of Wingate, John Hargett (Carrie) of New Salem, Dwayne Hilton (Krystal) of Matthews, Jeremy Hilton (Erin) of Pageland, Jerrod Hilton (Melissa) of Monroe, two sisters Sherry Wall (Bill) of Lenoir, NC, and Shelia Lemmonds (Ken) of Gaffney, SC, a brother Scott Whitley (Karen) of Ashville, NC, eighteen grandchildren and numerous nieces nephews. The family would to express their deepest thanks to Home Instead, and all the staff at Hospice of Union County for all of their compassionate care to Pam.
