Pam served as Chair of both organizations and was Union County Chamber of Commerce's Volunteer of the Year on two occasions. If you attended or participated in the Monroe Christmas Parade, in the 1990s or early 2000s, chances are great that you found Pam wearing a bright orange sweatshirt, as a parade official, come sunshine, sleet, or snow. Pam was a tireless American Red Cross volunteer until the day her light extinguished. She believed if you gave a little of your time to your community, you received so much more in return. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Health Services of Union County, Inc., 1338 E. Sunset Drive, Ste. C, Monroe, NC 28112, or a charity of the donor's choosing.
