Parley O’Neal Rape, 67, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was born December 28, 1950 to Gladys Mills Rape and the late Pete Rape. He was also preceded in death by his son, Perry Rape. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will visit with friends and relatives following the service at the funeral home. Mr. Rape is survived by his daughters, Dana Rape of Indian Trail and Jessica Rape of Monroe; brothers, Dennis and Joe Rape, both of Monroe; sisters, Edith Sweatt, Patsy Mangum, Vickie Greene and Lisa Baucom, all of Monroe, and Barbara Plyler, Kathryn Arant and Lorie Merritt, all of Pageland, SC.
