Patricia "Pat" Roos Goss

Patricia “Pat” Roos Goss, 94, of Wingate, NC passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 26, 1931, daughter to the late Walter John Roos and Aurelia Kern Roos. She is also preceded in death by her husband James Goss, as well as her brothers, Richard Vessels and Ray Vessels, sister, Bernice Anastasio.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 725 Deese Street, Monroe, NC 28112.

Pat is survived by her son, James Goss II, daughters Becky Goss, Terry Nichols, Gina Simpkins (Joe), and Lori Hartis (James), thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer Currie (Bill), Chad Nichols (Erinn), Brent Nichols (Jamie), Greg Nichols (Katie), Ashton Simpkins, Gabe Simpkins, Copeland Simpkins, McKenzie Simpkins, Taylor Simpkins, Maria Hartis, J.D. Hartis, Aurelia Hartis, and Zachary Hartis, as well as nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Via Health Partners Hospice, 7845 Little Road, Charlotte, NC 28226 or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
