Patricia Helms Tomberlin, 69, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016. She was born May 19, 1946 in Union County, daughter of the late George B. and Myrtle Smith Helms. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Andrew Tomberlin. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 5:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC, followed by burial in Monroe City Cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 4:00 - 4:45 PM prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Tomberlin is survived by her daughter, Kelly Tomberlin of Indian Trail; brother, Rev.
