Patsy Brisendine

Patsy Price Brisendine, 85, of Unionville, NC, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2020. She was born in Charlotte, NC, January 26, 1935, the daughter of the late Lawrence Otto Price and Iantha Price. She was preceded in death by first husband, Everett Glenn Smith, twin daughters Kelly and Kathi Smith, and sister, Alice Hyatt. She worked as a bookkeeper 33 years for Dr. Earle Spaugh in Charlotte, NC. She loved her Lord and Savior and served faithfully singing in the choirs at several churches over the years. One of her favorite Bible verses was John 14:27, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Patsy is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Frederick Brisendine, daughters Glenna Smith and Lorna Henley (Alan), granddaughters Samantha Henley (fiance Schilling Nechtman) and Alana Burnett (Daniel), sister Laura Eury (Walter), brother in law C.A. Hyatt, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208 with Rev. Eddie Price officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns of Covid-19, we will observe appropriate social distancing at the service.
