Mrs. Patty Lee Robinson Rice Shehane, 86, of Monroe, NC passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. She was born in Union County on December 9, 1933 to the late John Augustus Robinson and Ethel Mann Robinson. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Lakeland Memorial Park. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ for New Hope United Methodist Church, where she was a lifetime member. She was dedicated and faithful to serve. Patty worked her entire career in the banking industry. Patty is survived by her son, Tony Ray Cook (Cynthia), daughter, Pam Wilson (Mike) all of Monroe, NC, sister Betty Jo Roberts of Pageland, SC, five grandchildren; Emily Cook, Sara Belk (Zach), Chase McSheehan (Cait), Brandi Burnett and Melissa Jenkins, as well as eleven great-grandchildren.
