Paul James Buchanan, 88, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. He was born in Jackson County, NC, son to the late John Thomas Daisy Owens Buchanan. He is also preceded in death by his wife Lois Evelyn Buchanan, and nine siblings. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Concord Bible Church, 711 Williamsburg Ct. NE Concord, NC 28025. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will visit prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM. Paul is survived by two sons; Art Buchanan, wife Connie; Jim Buchanan, wife Leslie; six daughters; Pat Jordan, husband Jon; Pam Yerkes; Connie Wakefield, husband Tom; Sandy Marano; Cheryl Brame; Laurie Reeder, and husband Daniel; a sister Wilma Bloom, twenty five grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
