Dr. Paul Neff Erckman, 88, of Monroe, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He was born in Shelby County, TN, on March 7, 1938, to the late Robert Bull Erckman and Elizabeth Louise Neff. He is also preceded in death by his son, Robert Mark Erckman, two daughters, Catherine Elizabeth Dover and Lyndsay Horton, and one brother, Richard Erckman.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30PM on Monday, August 24, 2026, Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Paul is survived by his wife, Lynn Erckman, daughters, Susan (Joe) LaMonica, Becky (Brian) Griswold, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister, Carol Fitzgerald, and daughter-in-law, Cathy (Jeff) Dover.

Paul practiced pediatrics in Monroe for over 50 years on Franklin Street. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
