Paul E. Plyler, 77, of Waxhaw, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019. He was born June 30, 1941 in Union County a son of the late Ben Heath and Blanche Aldridge Plyler. He worked over 39 years and retired from Teledyne now know as ATI Technologies. He was a long time member of King Memorial Baptist Church in Waxhaw. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at King Memorial Baptist Church 701 NC-75 Waxhaw, NC with burial to follow in the Waxhaw City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday, May 20, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Service 1901 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC. Mr. Plyler is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kay Plyler, a son, Tim Plyler of Waxhaw, a daughter Melissa Evert and her husband Chris of Marshville, two brothers, Ben Plyler and his wife Marjorie of Monroe, Cliff Plyler and his wife Debbie of Monroe, a sister, Sandra Plyler Evans of Monroe, four grandchildren, Alex Plyler, Ben Plyler, Jenna Plyler, Dawson Evert, and two great-grandchildren, Cason and Henry Plyler.
